Austin, TX – June 11, 2025 — Texas House Representative Dr. Suleman Lalani (District 76) has officially opened applications for his Summer Internship Program starting in July 2025, inviting passionate and diverse individuals to join his team for a hands-on experience in government and public service.
The internship, open to applicants from all backgrounds, offers a unique opportunity to work closely with both Capitol and District Offices, providing valuable exposure to administrative functions and legislative research. This program is especially suited for individuals enthusiastic about public service, politics, and community engagement.
Interns will report directly to the Representative, Chief of Staff, and District Director, and will take part in a wide array of responsibilities, including:
• Attending community events and public meetings.
• Researching policy and legislation.
• Creating and monitoring social media content.
• Engaging with current events in Texas politics.
• Participating in community service initiatives.
To qualify, applicants should demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
