HOUSTON, TX — In a heartfelt gesture of unity and appreciation, the Pakistan Association of Greater Houston (PAGH) will be hosting a Flag Hoisting Ceremony on Thursday, July 4th at 10:30 AM at the Pakistan Center, located at 12638 Bissonnet St., Houston, TX 77099.

The event, held to commemorate the Independence Day of the United States, invites families, friends, and community members to come together for a solemn and respectful observance of American freedom and diversity.

Incorporating the vibrant cultures of both Pakistan and the U.S., the event is expected to draw a large number of Pakistani-American Houstonians as they honor their adopted homeland. The visual invitation features the Statue of Liberty and a blend of both U.S. and Pakistani flags, symbolizing shared values of liberty, unity, and faith.

Guests are requested to arrive by 10:15 AM, as the flag ceremony will begin sharply at 10:30 AM.

PAGH President Siraj Narsi shared his thoughts on the occasion:

“This ceremony is a tribute to the land that gives us opportunity, prosperity, and freedom. We take pride in celebrating the 4th of July as Pakistani Americans — honoring both our heritage and the values of this great nation.”

The event promises not just a moment of patriotism, but also a display of community solidarity in these challenging and changing times. It serves as a reminder that the spirit of independence transcends borders — uniting diverse communities under shared dreams.
