Hi, I’m Madiha Masood — a broadcast journalist with over a decade of experience in Pakistan’s leading media houses, including City42, Express News, Geo TV, Dunya TV, and 92 News.
My journey in journalism began in 2008 as a news anchor in Lahore. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to storytelling that informs, inspires, and connects people across cultures and communities.
With an MPhil in Communication Studies from Punjab University, Pakistan, and advanced studies in Digital Communication from Rice University in Houston, I’ve combined the rigor of traditional journalism with the power of modern digital tools to stay ahead in an ever-evolving media landscape.
After moving to the United States, I worked with both TV and radio stations. Along the way, I discovered a critical gap in local news coverage—particularly stories that speak directly to diverse communities. This insight led me to launch madihamasood.live: a platform committed to inclusive storytelling in languages people truly understand.
Today, I serve as a Content Director at a multinational company in Houston, while also continuing my work as a blogger, content creator, and community advocate. With a strong and growing social media presence, I use my voice to spotlight issues that matter most to us.
Currently, I’m also writing my autobiography, “Girl in Boots”—a personal account of my journey from Lahore’s fast-paced newsrooms to building a meaningful life and career in Houston.
