Hi, I’m Madiha Masood, a broadcast journalist with over decade of experience in Pakistan’s leading media houses, including City42, Express News, Geo TV, Dunya TV, and 92 News. My journey began in 2008 as a news anchor in Lahore, and since then, I’ve dedicated myself to storytelling that informs, inspires, and connects.
With an MPhil in Communication Studies from Punjab University and advanced studies in Digital Communication from Rice University, I’ve combined traditional journalism with modern digital tools to stay ahead in an evolving media landscape. After moving to the United States, I worked with TV and radio stations before realizing a vital gap in local news coverage. This led me to launch madihamasood.live, a platform where I bring communities together by sharing stories in the language they understand.
My journey has been guided by the unwavering support of my father, who gave me wings and all his trust to grow in this field—but always with care. Keeping his name as my brand is my way of honoring him for life. As this brand rises and shines, it will stand as a testament to his belief in me, ensuring his legacy lives on through my work.
I am also a blogger, a content creator, and currently work as a Content Director with a multinational company in Houston. With a strong following across social media, I use my platforms to highlight issues that matter most to our community.
Beyond my work in journalism, I’m writing my autobiography, “Girl in Boots”, which chronicles my journey from Lahore’s bustling newsrooms to creating a life of purpose in Houston.
