Houston, TX — A night of elegance, unity, and cultural pride lit up the Omni Hotel Grand Ballroom as the Arab American Cultural & Community Center (ACC) hosted its prestigious 2025 Annual Gala.
Arab Muslim leader Ahmad Alyasin played a leading role in the evening’s spirit of togetherness, extending a warm invitation to Pakistani Muslim leaders to join him at his VIP table. Reflecting on the event, Alyasin shared,
“Tonight wasn’t just a gala — it was a reminder that peace begins with connection. When Arab and Pakistani communities sit together, share a table, and exchange smiles, we are already shaping a more united future for generations to come.”
This year’s theme, “Al Quds ~ Jerusalem: Gathered in Spirit, United for Peace,” deeply resonated with guests, celebrating harmony, shared heritage, and mutual respect among people of all backgrounds.
Among the distinguished guests was Saeed Sheikh, President of the Karachi-Houston Sister City Association, who expressed heartfelt gratitude:
