HOUSTON, TX – June 24, 2025 — The Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH) has announced the Salat-ul-Janazah for Brother Ibrahim Mazhar Mohammed, a 28-year-old IT specialist from India who tragically lost his life in a hit-and-run accident near Highway 6 this past weekend.
Br. Ibrahim had recently gotten married and was building his life in Houston, where he worked for local businessman Jahanzaib Lakhani. With no immediate family in the U.S., his father in India gave permission for his burial in Houston. The community is now stepping in to honor him with a proper Islamic funeral.
