Houston, TX – The Pakistan Chamber of Commerce USA held its Annual Gala 2024 at the Marquee Event Center, celebrating achievements within the community and strengthening ties among its members. The event brought together local leaders, entrepreneurs, and dignitaries for a night of recognition, cultural performances, and gratitude.
President Amir Piprani opened the evening with a heartfelt speech, reflecting on the Chamber’s journey and expressing deep appreciation for the support it has received from the community. He paid tribute to the Chamber’s Founder, Ashraf Abbasi, and Chairman Advisory Council, Gulfaraz Khan, emphasizing their role in laying a strong foundation for the organization. Piprani also extended special thanks to the Honorable Consul General of Pakistan, Aftab Chaudhry, whose presence, he noted, added prestige and dignity to the occasion.
The highlight of the evening was the recognition of outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions in their respective fields. Mansur Kaiser was awarded Entrepreneur of the Decade for his visionary leadership in business. Shaukat Maredia received the Excellence in Philanthropy award for his generous efforts to uplift underprivileged communities. Salman Razzaqi was honored for Excellence in Leadership, acknowledging his role in inspiring and guiding others. Meanwhile, Talha Shabbir and Fauzia Khan were presented with Awards of Appreciation for their dedication and contributions to community initiatives. Najam Sheikh was recognized as a media partner for his invaluable support in amplifying the Chamber’s message.
The event was meticulously planned and executed by the Gala Coordinating Team, led by Gala Chair S.M. Ali. The team, which included Talha Shabbir, Fauzia Khan, Faraz Javed, Furukh Khan, Humaira Rehan, and Jahanzaib Lakhani, was commended for their tireless efforts in ensuring the success of the evening. Young volunteers were also acknowledged for their enthusiastic participation, which played a crucial role in the event’s seamless execution.
