Houston: The Pakistan Association of Greater Houston (PAGH) elections 2024 concluded with an overwhelming victory for presidential candidate Siraj Narsi and his panel, signaling a clear mandate from the community for new leadership and a fresh vision. Narsi was elected as the new president with an impressive 908 votes, a testament to the community’s confidence in his plans for inclusivity, youth engagement, and organizational growth.
The position of General Secretary was also secured by Aamir Zaidi, who garnered a remarkable 919 votes, further solidifying the strength of Narsi’s panel. The elections witnessed significant community participation, with 1,299 voters turning out to cast their ballots, reflecting a renewed interest in shaping the future of PAGH.
Among other notable victories, Asim Raza won the position of Chairperson for the Education Committee with 850 votes, emphasizing the community’s focus on advancing educational initiatives. Meanwhile, Khurram Zai’s 980-vote win for Chairperson of the Information Committee showcased a strong endorsement for transparency and effective communication within the organization.
